Why is the NDC doing this? – Miracles Aboagye on choice of EC deputy chair

NPP Communications Director, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of disregarding the principles of independence, accountability and neutrality in appointing Emelia Afi Agbenyo as a Deputy Chairperson of the Electoral Commission.Aboagye argued that the governing party should have considered other candidates instead of making an appointment that, in his view, could generate controversy over the independence of the electoral management body.
