Two Ladies Left Inside Parked Toyota Turn To ChatGPT To Learn How To Drive

Two ladies have shared a hilarious experience after being left inside a parked Toyota during a nighttime event.

According to their story, which is now trending online, the two were left seated in the car as they waited for the owner. Out of curiosity and boredom, they decided to teach themselves how to drive by figuring out the dashboard controls.

When they pressed the start button and the dashboard lights began blinking, they quickly turned to ChatGPT for instructions on how to start the car. The AI reportedly began guiding them step by step on how to start a Toyota push-to-start vehicle.

The two ladies, who were recording themselves, could be heard laughing and reading out the instructions from ChatGPT as they tried to follow them. They pressed buttons, checked the gear lever, and looked around the car for clues.

However, after several attempts, they eventually realised they didn’t have the ignition key, as it was outside with the owner. The car could not start without the smart key being inside the vehicle, which explained why the dashboard was only blinking but the engine was not coming on.

The video ends with the two bursting into laughter after realising their effort was in vain and they had been trying to start a car without a key.

The clip has since gone viral on Facebook and TikTok, with many Kenyans finding it hilarious. Some netizens joked that ChatGPT almost created two new drivers, while others said the ladies were brave for even trying.

“Gen Z will consult ChatGPT for everything,” one user commented.

Others used the moment to warn car owners against leaving people inside their cars with access to controls, saying it could be risky.

The funny incident shows how much people now rely on AI for everyday solutions, even learning how to drive.
