“That Was Not India” Former Raila’s Bodyguard Maurice Ogeta Says Kenyans Were Misled With Fake News

Maurice Ogeta, the former personal bodyguard of the late ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga, this evening and for the first time revealed that a video clip of himself and the late Raila walking in India was fake, outdated, and was used to mislead Kenyans.

Speaking to KTN News, Ogeta has revealed that the video clip was taken years ago and that it was taken the first time the late Raila Odinga underwent a surgery procedure in Dubai.

Equally, Ogeta has narrated that in the said Dubai video, he had accompanied the late Raila Odinga for a morning walk where he seemed to be recovering well.

All the same, during the KTN News interview, Ogeta did not fully disclose where, when, how, and the exact cause of Raila’s death before writing this story.

“The clip that was trending online of me walking behind Baba, Raila Amollo Odinga, while he was in a gown is an old video of us in Dubai after his first surgery, not in India,” Maurice Ogeta told KTN News.
