Jeanette Price and her daughters, Samantha Evans and Jalisa Freshwater were last seen on September 9, according to a Friday, October 9 news release shared by the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.

Their loved ones haven’t heard from Price, 45, Evans, 15, or Freshwater, 16, since they vanished, the office said.

“At this time there is no specific indication of harm to them however, various circumstances have raised concern for their welfare,” the district attorney’s office said in the news release. “Family, friends, and associates have all reported no contact with them.”

The alleged circumstances weren’t specified by the office, which said that it’s trying to help with ongoing search efforts.

It’s unclear who reported Price and her daughters as missing, where they were last seen or whether they’re still believed to be in Pennsylvania.

The Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office didn’t immediately respond to an inquiry from Us.

In a recent development in another missing persons case out of Cumberland County, a man was charged with first-degree murder after he allegedly confessed to killing a woman who disappeared seven years ago, Us previously reported.

David Snyder of Hanover was charged in the death of Kimberley Gsell, who went missing in September 2019, the district attorney’s office announced September 28.

On September 26, Snyder led investigators to a creek where he claimed he hid Gsell’s remains under a pile of rocks and admitted he strangled her to death, per PennLive.

Before the alleged murder, Gsell had been staying at a local motel with Snyder’s wife, who police said Gsell had become engaged to. Snyder is accused of killing Gsell after she and Snyder’s wife reportedly got into a physical altercation at the motel.

Snyder and his wife ultimately reported Gsell as missing following her death, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by WGAL. It’s not immediately clear whether he has entered a plea in the criminal case.

In the U.S., about 600,000 people are reported missing each year, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs).

“Fortunately, many missing children and adults are quickly found, alive and well. However, tens of thousands of individuals remain missing for more than one year – what many agencies consider ‘cold cases,’” NamUs reports online.

The Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office asks anyone with information related to their whereabouts of Price and her daughters to contact the Cumberland County Dispatch Center at 717-243-4121 or submit an online tip through the Crimewatch portal.
