The 36-year-old broadcaster confidently asserted that he can still play at an incredibly high professional level. Furthermore, he noted that several current backup quarterbacks around the league are simply not getting the job done.

Griffin openly claimed that he trains constantly to keep his body in pristine, game-ready physical condition. “I can still throw a football,” Griffin proudly told the host. Griffin also called out quarterbacks like Cooper Rush, but wouldn’t say he was better than other QB’s that were mentioned.

He believes his extensive experience could instantly help a struggling team looking for a spark at quarterback. His last official regular-season game action occurred all the way back in the 2020 football season.
