Iran: We Could End It Really Quick, They Don’t Know How Nice I’ve Been To Them – Trump

According to a report by Times Of India (TOI) on Sunday October 11, 2026, US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran could take additional actions before the November 3 midterm elections, while maintaining that Washington could bring the conflict to an end quickly amid continuing tensions between the two countries.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, on Saturday, Trump suggested that Tehran might increase its activities ahead of the elections in an attempt to influence the political atmosphere in the United States.

“They’re (Iran) sort of calming down. They’ll probably do a little bit extra before the election, thinking it’s going to hurt us, but we could end it really quick. They don’t know how nice I’ve been to them,” Trump said.

The American president had previously stated that the United States would refrain from launching attacks against Iran before the November 3 midterm elections, pointing to ongoing discussions between Washington and Tehran.

Meanwhile, tensions across West Asia have raised further concerns following developments involving Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi movement.

Earlier on Saturday, Trump said his administration would consider joining Saudi Arabia in launching strikes against the Houthis following a reported attack on Riyadh’s airport.

“We just found out about the recent attack – we’ll make a decision,” Trump told reporters at the White House, adding, “We’re going to take a look.”

His comments followed an attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

According to the country’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), the incident resulted in 12 deaths and left 309 people injured.

Trump’s remarks indicate that his administration is considering its response to the latest developments while maintaining its position on the conflict with Iran ahead of the November elections.
