Shooting in southwest Louisville leaves one man dead

Police were initially called out to the 12900 block of Lower River Road just after 1 a.m. Saturday. That's where they found a 22-year-old man who had been shot in the chest. However, they believe the shooting itself took place a little farther south, near the LG&E plant on Dixie Highway.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.
