Shah meets Dalit suicide victim’s family

Union home minister Amit Shah consoles Gulzar Singh’s son Lakhwinder and wife Sukhpal KaurJalandhar: Union home minister Amit Shah on Wednesday met the wife and a son of Gulzar Singh, a Dalit from Toor Banzara in Sangrur, who died by suicide after allegedly being intimidated for questioning Punjab finance minister Harpal Singh Cheema on state govt’s inability to stop the sale of drugs.They were among the drug-affected families invited by BJP to Jalandhar to meet Shah, who also mentioned them in his speech.
