KICL targets 10 mn-pair capacity next year with Qatar backing

KICL’s Jinnah Rafiq Ahmed with Sheikh Jassamal Al ThaniChennai : Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd (KICL) plans to scale its footwear production to 10 million pairs next year from 5 million currently, with Qatar’s ruling family backing the company’s next phase of investments and expansion in Tamil Nadu , Jinnah Rafiq Ahmed, executive chairman, said at the company’s 56th annual general meeting on Wednesday.
