59 stubble bruning cases in Punjab in 15 days

Bathinda: Punjab tops the crop residue burning cases in the early harvesting season, with the state recording 59 stubble burning incidents between Sept 15 and 30. Of 114 crop residue burning cases recorded so far across six states, Punjab accounts for more than 51%. Uttar Pradesh reported 32 cases, Madhya Pradesh 17, Haryana 3, Rajasthan 2 and Delhi 1.
