Wicked, selfish Akufo-Addo appointees should not be voted into national positions—Kate Gyamfuah
National Women Organiser for the New Patriotic Party, Kate Gyamfuah has urged delegates in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote against any former appointee who is contesting for a national position.
According to her, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s appointees were wicked and selfish and should not be given any space in national positions in the political party.
“I am urging delegates of the NPP to desist from voting for anyone who served as an appointee under the previous government. They were selfish and wicked while in power and so choosing them as leaders will have an adverse effect on the political party. They will worry our fortunes in the upcoming elections.
Don’t be fooled by what they give you now because they failed to open their doors for you when they were in power,” she said.
She further stated that she urged Ursula Owusu to step down from her decision to contest the General Secretary position, indicating that she told her the people did not like her and that she does not have a good name in the party.
