Police return to Horsch home for new ‘phases’ of investigation

The surrounding intersections were taped off Monday afternoon as crime scene investigators continued to work on the corner twin belonging to 44-year-old Eugene Horsch and his late father, notorious pornographer Raymond ‘R.C.’ Horsch.

Police at the scene explained that this part of the investigation would be occurring in phases.

Phase one, taking place Monday and Tuesday, focused on cleaning out the home and continuing to take photographs.

The investigation is expected to pick up again Monday, Oct. 5, and last about two weeks as officials continue to move through and catalog the scene.

Area residents were informed of the events at a recent community hearing in the Olney neighborhood. The home has been the center of police and media attention for months.

Police have already recovered hundreds of thousands of pieces of digital material from the home, which they said are being used to inform where to look for physical evidence.
