The Grammy winning Jamaican dancehall star Sean Paul is set to close out 2026 with a three city South African run, adding his name to a festive season lineup that already includes Jack White and Limp Bizkit.

Sean Paul’s catalogue spans more than 30 years, and the setlist is expected to lean into that history, with staples like “Get Busy,” “Temperature” and “We Be Burnin” alongside crossover collaborations that have kept him on rotation at parties and clubs well beyond his early 2000s peak.

For fans who grew up on those tracks, the shows double as a nostalgia trip as much as a night out, a formula that’s kept his live sets relevant to a generation of concertgoers who weren’t even born when the songs first charted.

According to Cameron Kelly’s report for CapeTownETC, the tour kicks off in Cape Town at the Grand Arena at GrandWest on Thursday, 3 December, before moving to Pretoria’s SunBet Arena at Time Square on Friday, 4 December, and wrapping up at the Durban ICC on Sunday, 6 December.

Blu Blood representative Shaaista Osman said the tour promises crowds across the board, noting that Sean Paul’s music “transcends generations, cultures and genres.” Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban, she added, are ready to bring the energy.

Tickets start at R750 and are available exclusively through Blu Blood Tickets. Age restrictions apply and differ slightly by section: no children under three will be permitted at any of the shows, and under 12s are barred specifically from the Golden Circle and General Standing areas, where the crowd is expected to be at its rowdiest.

With December marking the unofficial start of South Africa’s summer entertainment calendar, Sean Paul’s arrival slots neatly into a festive season already shaping up to be one of the busier ones for international acts on local stages.
