Controversial singer Portable has spoken out about the economic challenges facing Nigerians, expressing frustration over hardship and what he described as a lack of unity among young people.

In a video shared online, Portable said many Nigerians are struggling financially and argued that citizens should be more vocal about the difficulties they face.

According to him, remaining silent in the face of hardship does not help bring about change.

The singer also criticised Nigerian youths, claiming that they often undermine one another instead of collectively advocating for their rights and interests.

He suggested that this lack of solidarity has weakened efforts to address societal problems.

His words in part …

“Na oppression full Nigeria. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. I need to talk. I don wake up. Na who die no go wake up again. Nigerians are hungry. There is no money in the country. Wetin dey pain me pass be say this Nigerian youths, they are all betrayers. Them no fit fight for their rights na to betray each other. That’s why the late former president Buhari say Nigerian youths are so lazy. Too much laziness dey worry Nigerian youths…”

Watch video below …

“Nigeria is full of oppression. I need to speak up. Nigeria is suffering and you’re telling us to calm. President Tinubu were not calm and safe in this country.”
