The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has extended the deadline for the payment of dues by members.

In a release signed by the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party stated that the IT Directorate of the party is working to resolve the issues that have arisen and clogging the procedure.

In view of the payment challenges, the statement announced that all polling station election committees are hereby directed that proof of payment of dues shall not constitute grounds for disqualification of prospective candidates.

The statement added however that polling station election committees are required to record the names of those who have succeeded in paying their dues as well as those who are yet to do so.

The National Secretariat, the release added, shall publish a list of members who have paid their dues and are in good standing.
