Nollywood actor, Rotimi Salami, has weighed in on the trend of paternity scam, stating that he could accept a child whose DNA shows he is not the biological father
Naija News reports that the movie star, during an interview on BBC Yoruba, said that if he has already bonded with the child and sees the child as his own, he would still accept the child and continue to raise him.
He said, “If DNA says a child is not mine and I already see the child as mine, I will accept the child.”
However, Salami added that he does not know how he would react toward his wife if such a situation ever happened.
Meanwhile, Rotimi has spoken on the death of his colleague and friend, Allwell Ademola, saying her passing came down to the time appointed for her life.
Salami made the comment while appearing on the Oyinmomo TV programme, where he spoke about the circumstances surrounding the actress’s sudden death and the nature of cardiac arrest.
During the interview, the actor explained that cardiac arrest can happen without warning and may affect anyone, even people who try to maintain good health.
He said that in his view, the late actress died at the time her life was meant to end, adding that such medical emergencies can occur unexpectedly.
Salami also spoke about Ademola’s health condition before her death.
He explained that many people knew the actress was living with asthma, but said she was careful about how she handled her health.
