Ghana’s Ambassador to Guinea holds 69th Independence get-together in Conakry

Accra, March 10, GNA- Mr Maxwell Awiaga, Ghana’s Ambassador to Guinea has commended the Republic of Guinea for their successful general election and subsequent inauguration of the President.

“ I want to commend the government and the people of the Republic of Guinea for their peaceful elections on December 28, 2026 and inauguration on 17th January, 2026.”

Ambassador Awiaga, who was addressing the 69th Independence Anniversary of Ghana in Conakry also commended Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang and Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister for gracing the occasion.

In attendance at the 69th Independence Anniversary programme were government officials of the host nation, officials of Ghana’s Ambassador, members of the Diplomatic Corps and Ghanaians resident in Guinea.
