Confederation of African Football President Patrice Motsepe has reaffirmed CAF’s position that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations finals will take place in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. This follows reports that the African football governing body was planning to withdraw the 2027 AFCON hosting rights from the three East African nations. Motsepe was addressing a press conference shortly after the CAF Executive Committee meeting in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, earlier this afternoon.
