NAPO going through the voting process

Former Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh also known as (NAPO) has called on delegates to come out in their numbers and cast their votes to elect a candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party to victory in December 2028.

NAPO made this assertion when he cast his vote at St. Anne’s Anglican Church in the Manhyia South Constituency.

According to him, the ongoing presidential primaries are moving smoothly, urging delegates to come out in their numbers.

“Earlier this morning, I cast my vote in the ongoing presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party at St. Anne’s Anglican Church in the Manhyia South Constituency. The process was smooth, orderly, and peaceful. I encourage all Party delegates to proceed to their respective polling stations to exercise their right to vote, and to do so in a calm and responsible manner, strictly observing all the rules that govern this important exercise,” he said.

Approximately 211,849 delegates are expected to cast their votes in the NPP presidential primaries today, January 31, 2026.

Five candidates competing for the election include Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
