Dambai (O/R), Jan. 31, GNA- Mr Nelson Kofi Djabab, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Krachi East constituency, has handed over two 40-feet containers filled with educational resources to the Municipal Education Directorate for onward distribution.
It is an effort to promote the well-being of deprived and vulnerable children in the Constituency.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Djabab said the shipment included textbooks and furniture to address the deficient in schools across the constituency.
The resources included textbooks for science, mathematics, social studies, english language, and many other learning materials meant for basic, secondary schools and vocational institutions.


With the furniture, he said the initiative sought to address not only the practical needs for seating but also symbolised a commitment to education, quality, and community development in Krachi East.
He highlighted the importance of investing in quality education, adding that the support formed part of the government’s efforts to enhance quality education and promote effective learning.
He explained that government efforts needed to be complemented, and he was proud to partner with the cross, a non-governmental organisation to bring resources to students in his constituency.
Mr Solomon Atitsogbui, the Municipal Director of Education, who received the donation on behalf of the Directorate, expressed gratitude for the MP’s commitment to improved education in the area.


The MP also handed over a rehabilitated and furnished the Kpelema clinic to help ensure quality health care delivery was provided to the people of the area.
Mr Djabab underscored the importance of quality health care and wellbeing of the people and reiterated his commitment to continue to work to address the pressing needs of his constituents.
Mr Safo Nketia, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Krachi East, commended the MP’s efforts in bringing development to Krachi East.
Mr Abdul-Muttalib, Krachi East Municipal Director of Health, expressed gratitude to the MP for the good initiative and appealed for more.
