In Ghana juicy promises without any plan wins elections – Abu Sakara –

A leading member of the Alliance For Revolutionary Change (ARC), Abu Sakara has expressed worry over the extreme partisanship in Ghana.

According to him, this has been a major challenge Ghana is facing and needs to be addressed.

To him, “One of the diseases of our extreme partisanship is that the entire election is based on promises. But if somebody is promising what they don’t have why don’t you ask them where they are going to get that money from?

He continued “Or is it just a little sprinkle of salt part of the meal or are you going to put enough in the soup for the whole soup to be tasty? You can’t scoop a little of the soup and sprinkle salt on it and say that one is nice and say the rest of the soup is tasteless”.

“So when we make these promises we should make sure that are systemic, in other words it’s throughout the entire system so that everyone will have their share,” he said.
