The 1st edition of the Corporate Camp Xperience was held at the Aburi Eco Resort in the Eastern Region.
This event was put together by the HR Certification Centre to help corporate workers escape the hustle and bustle of the city to the quietness of the countryside to connect with nature and relax.
The 2-Day Corporate Camp Xperience had 50 participants across various corporate organizations in attendance. The converging point was the office premise of the HR Certification Centre at the Airport Residential Area on Saturday, 2nd September 2023.
The campers arrived at the breathtaking Oboadaka Waterfall which is about 15 minutes’ drive from the Aburi Eco Resort. Participants of the Camp Xperience were intrigued by the cool mist and invigorating splashes of the waterfall as they took turns to experience it.
At exactly 1 PM campers arrived at the Aburi Eco Resort which has spectacular mountain scenery. At the time of arrival, the premise was filled with fog and the lush greenery gave a refreshing embrace of nature.
Some of the highlights of the Camp Xperience were: Movie Night Under the Stars, Bonfire & Jams Night, Playing Board Games, Morning Aerobics, and Sleeping in Camping Tents for One Night. These activities brought out the strategists among the campers while laughter and camaraderie flowed freely.
In the end, it wasn’t just a camping trip, it was a journey of self-discovery, teamwork, and unforgettable moments. It reinforced the importance of taking time away from the daily grind to connect with nature, with each other and with ourselves.
