Samuel Osei Kuffour, A Member Of The Black Stars Management Committee, Has Resigned.

The newly constituted Black Stars Management Committee in February 2022 has one member who has resigned.

Collins Ata Poku of Sompa FM and TV fame has provided exclusive information to the assiduous team of editors at www.atspo.com that Samuel Osei Kuffour has officially sent his resignation letter to the Vice President and head of the Black Stars Management Committee.

The vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mark Addo, who serves as the head of the committee, Kwasi Agyemang, who serves as a vice head, Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Kwame Ofosu Bamfo, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah (Rtd. ), and Alhaji Karim Grusah make up the committee team.

Following a dismal showing by the Black Stars at the most recent Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon, where they finished last in a group with Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros without a win, the reconstitution of the newly formed Black Stars Management Committee became imperative.

According to reports, the 46-year-old Pundit with South Africa-based channel SuperSports has avoided the Black Stars, with a classic example being his absence from the team’s stay in Kumasi.

The resignation of Samuel Osei Kuffour from the management committee has alarmed many Black Stars supporters because he served as a mentor to players who needed advice from such an outstanding player during his time with the national team.

Again, he is the second player with extensive experience to cushion the team’s success after his colleague Stephen Appiah was fired from the Black Stars’ technical team in 2020 under Kurt Okraku’s leadership.

Samuel Osei Kuffour, a former dependable centre-back for Bayern Munich, was a member of the Black Stars squad that competed in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, and the most exciting aspect of his career has been that he spent thirteen years with the team, played in 54 competitive games, and scored three goals.
