The first African woman to ever partner with Spotify, Jakeline Acheampong, well known as Gyakie has recently achieved another milestone with the remix of her most popular song ‘Forever’.

The truth is that the remix version of her song has been making more waves than the original song. Recall, we reported that the video of the remix has garnered over 15 million views on YouTube whiles the original video has about 10 million views on the same platform.

The Nigerian effect Omah Lay, one of the top youngsters in the Nigerian music industry put on her song has made it one of the most-streamed tunes on all music platforms.

The remix version of the song has recently hit over 5 million streams on Spotify a few months after it was released.

In other news, award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has been captured showing massive love to his fans in Ada.
