The club was formed by the rich and older inhabitants of East Legon to help them keep fit and socialize during Christmas.
The club has famous members including business mogul, Osei Kwame Despite and his brother Ofori Sarpong, owners of Despite Group of Companies.

Every year, they meet during Christmas to network and offer thanks to God for how he has brought them through a Thanksgiving Service.
Some seasoned Gospel artists were there to provide good music from their repertoire to the rich folks.
