‘I Can’t Diss Shatta Wale’- Prince Bright » ™

Veteran rapper, Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame has dismissed the notion that his ‘Ofeetso’ with Sarkodie is a diss song for Shatta Wale.

Sarkodie secured the services of Bright to do justice to the chorus of the song which was sang in a Ga.

The lyrics has been interpreted by fans as a diss song to Shatta Wale but Prince thinks otherwise.

In an interview with MzGee, Prince explained that the song was all about his life and nothing else.

“The song is actually in relation to me. You do good, they’ll bash you; you don’t do good, they’ll bash you,” he said.

Bright mentioned that he can’t soil his hard won reputation by engaging in trivialities such as diss songs especially to someone like Shatta Wale whom he sees as a family.

He further indicated that based on how he reveres his late group member, Rooney Coaches, he can’t hurt anything or anyone Ronnie loved.

“Shatta Wale is Ronney’s man and you know how much I love Ronney. Shatta is family. I will look stupid to hurt Shatta Wale for my starters,” he said.

“I started this thing out of love so why will I want to break something I created out of love for this past 22 years in the game. I will not use just 5 minutes to mess up everything I’ve worked so hard for,” he emphasised.
