The Card B ‘Meet and Greet’ no show is still trending on every available space on the discussion table as social media slumps into a meltdown over what happened yesterday.
Some Ghanaian female celebrities stormed Cardi B’s hotel room at Kempinski in a supposed Meet & Greet session before she headlined her concert last night at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In a trending video, one could see Moesha, Becca, Efia Odo, Afia Schwarzenegger, Akuapem Poloo, Hajia4Real and a host of others who looked cheerful as they headed to Cardi B’s room.
But it turned out Cardi B was totally unaware of the official arrangement as she enjoyed her khebab near the swimming pool and ignored the celebs who were waiting anxiously for her.
The issue has generated much furore on social and mainstream media with back and forth varied opinions being expressed everywhere.
In the midst of that, Shatta Wale decided to jump on it to reinforce his infamous Ghana is a village cliché.
The SM boss said what the female celebrities did by lining up to greet Cardi B proves that we live in a village.
He posted on Twitter:
“WHEN I SAY GHANA BE VILLAGE……DEM GO TALK SAY WHY ”
