It looks like it’s not only Kumi Guitar whose career failed to take off after the collapse of gold collectible company, Menzgold owned by Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1.
Another artist, Efe Keyz who was with Zylofon Media said her career became stagnant when the Menzgold’s troubles started.
Efe disclosed that although she did not have a formal contract with the financiers of Zylofon Media, people who were in charge of her promotion got fixated on MenzGold issues rather than focus on her career success.

She said: “Promotion slowed down because people wanted to hear that the Menzgold issues were being addressed than paying attention to our promotion budget”, she told Happy FM based in Accra.
Efe further said the issue with Menzgold really affected her financially, emotionally-reason her career could not fly off as she expected.
