Celebrity lawyer, Maurice Ampaw has revealed that the elder brother of Asamoah Gyan, Baffour Gyan had wanted to chop his girlfriend sometime back but he failed.
He emphasised that prior to that episode with the Gyan family, he had no issues with them whatsoever contrary to perception that he hated Asamoah Gyan for which reason he took up the Sarah Kwablah infamous rape case against the former Black Stars player.
He disclosed this on ‘Time With The Stars’ show with First Lady on BrownGh TV. He indicated that he had never met Asamoah Gyan face to face before so he had no hatred for him as the rumour stipulated.

“Let me take this platform to explain things deep to you. I have never met Asamoah Gyan one on one before. I don’t know him.
All that I know about Asamoah Gyan is he played for Liberty Professionals. I admired him from afar in terms of his football skills.
It was through Baffour Gyan that I became friends with Asamoah Gyan because he(Baffour Gyan) was chasing my girlfriend.
The girl didn’t agree to his proposal so Baffour Gyan approached me and told me that I have a faithful girlfriend and we exchanged numbers,” Maurice Ampaw said during the interview.
