Dec. 02, GNA – The youth have been advised to refused to allow themselves to be
manipulated by any self-seeking politician to cause confusion in the society.

Addei Junior (Jnr), General Overseer of Promised Word Church International
(Bohye Asore), said it was important for them to put the common good ahead of
self-serving agenda.

He gave the advice
at a thanksgiving service held by the church at its national headquarters Awutu
Ofaakor in the Awutu Senya East Municipality.

He said there should
be no place for people, out there, to create trouble and disturb the peace.

He added that as the
nation readied for Election 2020 “we should do everything within our power to
eschew utterances likely to generate conflicts”.

He reminded
everybody that they had a responsibility to themselves and posterity protect to
protect peace and unity of the country.

“The Constitution of
the nation endorses freedom of association and therefore there should be no
reason for followers of different political parties to see themselves as
enemies.”

“As a people we
should pray for divine wisdom and direction” to guide the country to continue
to enjoy the existing peace, rather than indulging in negative tendencies which
would not bring growth and development.

Apostle Addai
encouraged qualified voters to go out in their numbers, to vote in the December
17 District Level Elections – to elect honest, humble, truthful and hardworking
persons to the assemblies and the unit committees.
