This has always been the case in the past but it seems the selfishness of the artist to appreciate the work of the DJ has made DJ Advicer of Happy 98.9 FM vented his anger on Ghanaian artistes for their selfish attitude.

According to DJ Advicer in an interview with Sammy Flex, very few artists in Ghana recognises their work stating that the Nigerian artists who know the value and the role they play in their career have started employing the services of Ghanaian DJs for their events.
In the interview, he sighted that Okyeame Kwame and his wife are those of the few entertainment people in Ghana who surprised him with a gift. He narrated that he played Okyeame Kwame’s songs for as long as he can remember.
He got the surprise of his life when he was handed a cheque by the wife of the Hiplife musician for his good work.
