MTN supports Breman Asikuma Odwira festival

The chiefs and people of Breman Asikuma Traditional Council have thanked MTN for their support towards the 2019 Breman Asikuma Odwira festival.

MTN presented a cheque of GHC 3,000.00, airtime worth GHC 500.00 and drinks hamper to the chiefs and elders of Breman Asikuma to support this year’s celebration.

Additionally, MTN will organise sales promotion during the cause of the event to support the organization of the festival and also help patrons win various MTN products and recharge cards.

Corporate Services Advicer for MTN, Kennedy Ofosu Hene who presented the items to the Afahye Planning Committee on behalf of the Regional Senior Manager, Mr. Price Owusu Nyarko, applauded the people of Breman Asikuma for their continuous use of MTN for all telecommunication needs.

He revealed MTN’s plan to support festivals in Ghana since MTN is an indigenous company and their plans to project the African culture through festivals which is seen as an important aspect of the African culture.

The Breman Asikuma Odwira festival commence with activities, including homecoming, Adae Kesse feast, health talk and walk, free health screening, Inter-Junior High Schools (JHS) quiz, science and mathematics competition.

Other activities are purification of the Black Stools, Debate on the history of the area etc.

Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, applauded MTN for the gesture and called on all natives of the town and other companies to support the town and raise the flag of Breman high.
