Persons who love shopping and have an excellent appetite for food must consider pitching camp at Achimota Retail Centre (ARC) for the ‘Make a Toast’ campaign until the end of October, centre officials announced today.
Customers and patrons who make purchases at any of ARC’s eight restaurants and eateries, in the course of the month are eligible for scratch cards which could offer them exciting gift items or special discount deals from designated shops at the centre.
Among ARC’s variety of eateries are celebrated food vendors like Chicken/Pizza Inn, Sweet Roses, the Chop Bar, KFC, Basilissa, King’s Landing, Kabo Corso and Pizza Hut.
The ARC management says it is using the ‘Make a Toast’ campaign to step up the excitement and pleasure of shopping as the Centre marks its ‘fourth birthday’ and also to reward customers for their unwavering loyalty over the past four years.
ARC opened for business on 29th October, 2015 and has since been the shopping centre of choice for the cluster of communities in Accra’s south-eastern sector and is credited with having brought modern and secured one-stop shopping to the entire Ga East Municipality.
“This campaign (Make a Toast) is more about the exciting variety of food offering we have here at ARC and our intention is to share with the general public, customers and our shoppers what the Centre has to offer in our food category,” Marketing Manager Anthony Asamoah told newsmen.
“The ‘Make a Toast’ scratch cards bear different messages indicating what the shopper has won and directs the shopper to the particular store where the gift item may be redeemed,” Mr. Asamoah explained.
He disclosed that the highpoint of the campaign will be a trivia game slated for Saturday October 26 which will be hosted by ace comedian DKB and at which eight shoppers would be rewarded with a dinner for two in a special set up at the food court where specially stocked gift hampers will be given out to winners.
Achimota Retail Centre, also known by its patrons as ‘Achimota mall’, is located at Dome, near the St John’s Grammar School on the Accra-Nsawam Highway. Easily the most popular mall in Accra, ARC houses a wide range of Ghanaian and international brands with offerings in different retail categories including, fashion and clothing, electronics, grocery and a range of alluring delicatessen and eateries.
The Centre’s tenant portfolio is jointly anchored by the reputed food and grocery giant, Shoprite, and the acclaimed general merchandise store, Game. ARC boasts of one of the capital’s biggest open and undercover parking spaces and a tight security regime which is delivered by a combination of manual and electronic surveillance.
