We wish to unreservedly apologize to Mr. Fiifi Boafo and COCOBOD for some information we published on our news portal on July 26, 2019 headlined, “$10m cocoa roads audit expenditure was necessary – COCOBOD.”
In the story, we wrongly stated that Mr. Boafo defended an alleged use of $10 million for an audit of cocoa roads, a claim made by the Minority in Parliament.
Mr. Fiifi Boafo, who spoke on behalf of COCOBOD did not defend the supposed use of $10 million as stated in the story but stressed the relevance of the audit.
The story was without malice and steps have already been taken to correct the error.
