professional institute to enhance the career prospect of its members through
continuous career development programmes.

professionals cannot practice their own assumptions when they belong to a body
and they should be guided by ethical principles such as integrity in practice,
confidentiality and conflicts of interest amongst others.

“Without honesty and integrity, there
is no foundation of trust, the insurance industry cannot successfully operate
without their professionals being people of high integrity.

professionals to respect the dignity and worth of all and the rights of the
individual to privacy and self-determination.

of the highest professional and ethical standard for insurance practitioners in
the country.

“We do this as part of efforts at
winning and securing public trust. Across the professional landscape, a
chartered status stands proud as an indicator of the highest standards of
learning and ethical behavior everywhere in the world “, he said.
