Many young people are defying huge odds in order to acquire some level of education. Like many other less-endowed Ghanaian students, Wisdom works as a ‘TROTRO MATE’ just to get money to pay for his tertiary education.
We were extremely marveled when we chanced upon Wisdom’s situation. The interesting part is that he carries his duty diligently without any malice.
Wisdom’s story was shared by a Facebook user identified as Betty Bradford. Betty shared this inspirational story on her Facebook timeline.
Wisdom told Betty that he worked as a Trotro mate for 5 solid years which enabled him to raise money for his Tertiary Education. He revealed to Betty that he is a Level 200 Economics student at the University of Education Winneba.
He works as a Trotro mate while on vacations just to raise his fees for the upcoming academic semester.
He willingly told Betty to share his story to inspire others out there who are also going through the same ordeal.

“I met this wonderful trotro mate from darkuman junction to dansoman! In the car we had a pep talk.
Amazingly this wisdom guy is in the university of education winneba level 200 studying economics.
He mentioned that anytime he comes home for vacation he works as a trotro mate to solicit funds for his school fees! And before he acquired his university education he worked as a trotro mate for 5years and that money he saved gave him the chance to also enroll. He is very versatile I love the way he goes about his job!
He arranges passengers accordingly making it very convenient to alight at your destination!
