The German Parliamentary Delegation on Education has advised the government of Ghana to fully commit resources to support Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) to change the country’s fortunes.

Sybille Benning, the Vice Chairman of German Parliamentary Committee on Education, Research and Development spoke to Citi News saying:

“Technical and Vocational Education Training is the best way to go as a nation because you need people like professionals to work in the country, take up professional works and responsibilities. Every country needs these professionals because they are the basis for entrepreneurship and economic development and key for every country’s welfare and prosperity so leaders should commit to technical and vocational training”.

Sybille Benning who expressed satisfaction with the output of Koforidua Technical University in the area of technical vocational educational training indicated that educational Institutions in Germany will continue to collaborate with KTU.

“We are impressed with what Koforidua Technical University is doing in terms of education and we are going back to brief our people on what we have seen. The most important thing is to strengthen the corporation and collaboration we have with them and we believe our collaboration will improve in the coming years”.
