‘Yeah, I Told Bullet I’ll Write Songs For Wendy Shay Because His Vibe Is DEAD’- Kelvyn Boy

Afrobeat singer, Kelvyn Boy has shed more light on his supposed beef with New Artiste of the Year winner at the Vodafone Ghana Awards, Wendy Shay.

The artiste, born Kelvin Brown, stoke the fire or rivalry when he jabbed Wendy Shay by stating that he would not beef someone who could not write her own songs. He also claimed Bullet’s songwriting skills were stale.

This was a clear jab to the Uber Driver hitmaker whose inability to write her own song is a common knowledge. Then again the ‘Lai-lai’ crooner humiliated Wendy Shay when he deliberately snubbed her during a photoshoot at the Peace Conference jointly held by Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at the Mariot Hotel on June 4 during their reconciliation process.

But dude says there’s nothing to apologize for in a new interview and he gave reasons to substantiate it. According to him, when he was accused of snubbing Wendy Shay, he called Bullet to explain his side of the story because he believed bloggers would spin the story to suit them.

If something has happened you cannot just post on social media that I am beefing your artiste because of an award. I am like you that you are writing for her, your vibe is dead so I will write for you to give to her. Your song no dey pass my ‘Odo’ (song),” he told Andy Dosty, host of the show.

Kelvyn Boy also that explained contrary to Bullet’s assertions, he is not jealous if Wendy Shay or her award as ‘Best New Artiste of the Year’.
