Iranian Foreign Minister Denied Visa To Attend UN Meeting In U.S

The United States of America has reportedly denied Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif visa to attend a UN Security Council meeting in New York on Thursday.

This is coming amidst the tension between Iran and America over the killing of Iran’s military leader, General Qasem Soleimani some days ago.

In response to the reported visa denial, the Iranian minister has promised that his country will retaliate at the appropriate time for USA’ arrogance.

Speaking on a state television broadcast, Mr Zarif confirmed that he had been barred from the meeting.

“As the host of the UN headquarters, the US should allow foreign delegates to attend such events.

‘They fear that someone comes to the US and reveals realities,’ Zarif said.
