Some seized vehicles parked at a police station
The Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Command has appealed to the general public and owners of abandoned vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles and bicycles to report at the Regional, Divisional and District Police Stations with their relevant documents for identification and collection.
A press release signed by Chief Inspector Augustine Kingsley Oppong, the Regional Police Public Relations Officer, said the Regional Police Command as part of measures to decongest the Police premises of all exhibits has taken steps to clear and dispose-off all abandoned aforementioned items, including scraps.
It advised owners of such items to report at Police stations where their items were kept within a period of three weeks.
All the unclaimed items would be disposed-off by auction sale after the given deadline, the release said.
