The mother of Ghanaian rapper, Medikal has opened up for the first time about the death of talented dancehall artiste, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, aka Ebony.

According to Madam Portia Lampptey, she is a big fan of Ebony and has not been of herself since the sudden demise of the reigning artiste.

Speaking to Spyderlee Entertainment TV at Ebony’s One Week celebration, Medikal’s mother revealed that she sometimes feels Ebony’s presence in her room.

“I’m a fan of my son Medikal but I love Ebony because she’s an upcoming artiste just as my son. I felt so bad when I heard of her death. In fact, for about four days, I wasn’t of myself because I love her. The way she died, I just couldn’t stand it,” Zionfelex.net reported.

Madam Lamptey who was visibly terrified by the death of the dancehall artiste added that, “for about four days, I couldn’t sleep in my room because it felt like I was staying with Ebony. I was feeling as though I was under the same roof with her.”

The mother of the ‘Too Risky’ hitmaker in her conversation revealed that she supports and prays for her son, Medikal and his friends always.

“I do advise my son, not him alone but all those around him because I also see them as my children. I support him a lot with prayers because as a mother or as a parent, you always have to guard your child with prayers so that God’s hands will strongly be on them,” Madam Lamptey said.

The sudden death of Ebony has left many Ghanaians, both home and abroad terrified with tributes pouring in from all corners of the world.

Ebony met her untimely death together with her bodyguard, Francis Atsu and one of her closest friends, Franky Kuri in a gory accident on Kumasi-Sunyani road while returning from a private trip.

The final funeral arrangement of Ebony has been scheduled for March 17, 2018, in Accra.
