Kalybos
Comic actor Kalybos has disclosed that he has never dated comedienne Jacinta Ocansey.
There had been rumours of an amorous relationship between Kalybos and Jacinta. Some even went further to claim that Kalybos had two other girlfriends, one at KNUST and one in the US, while dating the comedienne.
However, speaking in an interview with Zionfelix, Kalybos denied the rumours saying nothing has ever happened between them.
According to him, Jacinta is just a close friend like his other colleagues in the showbiz industry so the public should ignore any such claims of a relationship between them.
“Our bond might make people think so but nothing of that sort has ever happened between them – not even for 14 days” Kalybos explained adding that “many Ghanaians do not still believe that his partner in the industry, Ahuofe Patri is just a friend but not his girlfriend,” he said.
On the issue of two other girlfriends, Kalybos, who described it as false, stated that he had not heard of the story of him dating three girls at a time anywhere until the interview with Zionfelix.
Born Richard Kwaku Asante on April 27, 1988, Kalybos burst onto the scene with his lead role alongside Ahuofe Patri in the ‘Boys Kasa’ comic series.
After the success of Boys Kasa, Kalybos became a household name and has gone on to carve a fine acting and comedy career for himself.
Jacinta, on the other hand, is Ghanaian Nigerian born comedian. She could be described as the only female stand-up comedian in the country now.
