Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have dismissed claims that they are demanding $56,000 refund from suspended coach Frank Nuttal.

A statement released by the club, indicate that the Scottish trainer had demonstrated “unsporting and unethical behaviour which contradict the club’s code of conduct.”

A three-member committee made up of Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe (Chairman), Mrs Ivy Heward-Mills and Mr Frank Nwokolo Nelson was instituted to investigate the coach has submitted its findings and recommendations to the Hearts Board.

The Scottish was accused of advising players not to extend their contract with the promise of getting them a new club abroad.

The former Gor Mahia coach is reported to have admitted to receiving some cash for the services rendered from these acts which amount to a conflict of interest.

Widespread reports indicate that the Phobians are demanding an amount of US$ 50,000 and US$ 6,000 cuts he made from the free agent transfers of some two unnamed players.

However, according to Administrative Manager of the club,Hackman Aidoo says there is no such action by the club on the table.

“I was surprised to hear that Nuttall has been asked to refund the money he gained from his dealings,” Aidoo told starrsportsgh.com.

“No such thing has cropped up because nobody could confirm or gather information that he made some gains though he admitted to those things.”

“I don’t think there is any refund issue in the whole matter,” Aidoo stated.

Meanwhile, the club have handed the coaching reins to deputy coach Henry Wellington and will be assisted by former Tema Youth trainer, Edward Nii Odoom ahead of the coming season.
