Philanthropist Stacy M. Amewoyi, has stated the number of cars, houses, foot wears and businesses do not account for being blessed, but rather the number of people a person can put smiles on at the end of the day.
According to her, the blessings of God, which she calls the inner blessings come from above through the extending of hand to others.
“To have a long life spent well depends on our good deeds. How would it feel like after the strength is failing and one realizes that, the act of showing kindness and love could have extended his stay on earth?
How many lives have you availed your heart to touch and be a blessing? The blessing isn’t the physical aspect, but one which comes with pride to say I helped this person.
It’s my prayer that people will ask God to use them as vessels to bless others so to see the outcome”. Stacy noted.
She continued, there is the normal blessings besides the blessings in giving and thus, it needs to be hammered to those who are blessed but have neglected their responsibility of giving. This move, she added, isn’t one to condemn or judge the well to do but rather to give the wakeup call that, boasting in the pride of one’s belongings can boldly be said as no blessing at all.
“Why don’t we use what we have to glorify others as in whatever we know how to do, we put in our best so to have positive effect on others? The gifts we have, it has been given unto us as stewards to give account of one day. So if you become gifted, what are you to do with it? The owner of everything will come down to ask what we did with what He gave us and as the Holy book says as we did not do unto others so we did not do unto Him”. She admonished.
