Corporate institutions, businesses and emerging leaders have been admonished not to downplay the role that diversity and constant planning play in implementing their strategies.

According to the acting Corporate Services Executive at MTN Ghana, Pala Asiedu-Ofori, who doubles as the Senior Manager, Commercial, Legal and Company Secretary, diversity, when managed well, in an establishment, breeds innovation, renewed commitment, alternatives, opportunities and ideas, which are all geared towards the growth of an identity or brand.

Speaking to Ultimate Business on the sidelines of the 2018 Springboard Road Show Middle Zone Programme in Kumasi on Saturday, the MTN Ag. Corporate Services Executive also indicated that policies must be fine-tuned at all times to meet set targets and goals.

“Currently in the global market space, in which we operate, we need people to carry out the strategy that are put in place and increasingly the world, as they say has become a global village.

“I gave the example of MTN that we are in 22 operating countries and we have diverse people with diverse backgrounds, so it is important for you to manage these things properly in order to get the best out of every background and idea,” Mrs. Asiedu Ofori mentioned.

MTN has in the last decade been recognized by organizers, Legacy and Legacy, as a solid partner for the Springboard Road Show.

The Springboard Road Show aims at mentoring business executives, civil society leaders, role models and also to develop human capital for social transformation.

Mrs. Asiedu Ofori further hinted the platform presents MTN, the opportunity to groom the next generation of global transformational leaders for productivity.

“We’ve been with the Springboard Programme in the last ten years and as you also know, MTN Ghana Foundation is the corporate social investment wing of MTN. Our focus is on health, education and economic empowerment and so even if we take the education aspect of it, we’re involved in bettering the lives of Ghanaians all over.

“In all the ten regions of Ghana, you’ll find the work that we are doing there. Springboard is directly in line with the focus that we also have in developing capacity to ensure we’re able to accomplish the things that are put before us,” she said.

The 2018 Springboard Road Show, Middle Zone Programme which was well attended by many at the Calvary Charismatic Centre, was under the theme, “Leveraging Strategy and Technology”.

Other partners of the event include Ecobank, Databank, Enterprise Life, First Banc, Persol Limited, Voltic, Yebbs Cleaning Services, Yoks-Rent-a-Car, Ultimate FM (EIB Network) and the Daily Graphic.
