Popular Kumawood actor, Oboy Siki has cautioned Ghanaians about the recent activities of Mallams and fetish priests on various television stations.

According to the actor, Mallams only enrich themselves by deceiving some Ghanaians to believe that, they have some strange powers to double money.

The activities of Mallams have dominated many local television and radio stations under the disguise of interviews, whiles they promote their services to the public.

However, speaking on Kumasi-based Angel FM, as monitored by Mynewsgh.com, Oboy Siki revealed that all that happens on local TV stations in connection with Mallams are ‘fake’.

The actor insisted that, there is nothing like money-doubling miracle on this earth.

“Those people you see on television, saying bring GHC 10,000,000 and we shall multiply it for you are not real, everything they do is professionally edited”, the actor disclosed.

The Kumawood actor in his interview exposed that, “On screen at your home, they will bring the box for you to see there is nothing in it but just as we do in movies, the director will say freeze at the point, and someone else from the crew will come and put the money in the box which viewers in the house will have no idea of what exactly is going on behind the scenes”.

The actor therefore cautioned Ghanaians to stay away from Mallams who appear on their television screens with the claim of having powers to double monies.

The Kumawood actor confessed that, although he took part in such activities, he did so out of curiosity and has since regretted.

“Whatever is done there is faked. The actor who even interviews the Mallams may not even be informed until you get to a hotel room where cameras are set to roll. When they invited me, I decided to go there and see things for myself so I went,” he said.

Oboy Siki has been forced to confess his ‘sins’ after a popular Kumasi-based preacher prophesied that he was going to die, if he does not desist from money doubling scam.
