A presidential hopeful of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alban Bagbin, says although former President John Dramani Mahama is knowledgeable and experienced, he [Mahama] has challenges with taking key decisions as a leader.
“Mr Mahama has several attributes as a person that I admire a lot but decision taking is sometimes his major challenge,” he made the observation in an interview with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye of Kessben FM in Kumasi.
According to him, Mr. Mahama faltered in taking key decisions during his regime, as leader of the country.
Bagbin however dismissed claims suggesting that he hates Mr. Mahama.
“I was the first person to predict that he (Mahama) will be president one day, so how can I hate him?” he questioned.
For him, he’s benefited a lot from the country and believes “it’s about time that I give back to the country.”
The Presidential hopeful said he has a lot of experience and expertise, as well as the zeal which will help develop Ghana effectively.
