It’s been week since Ebony Reigns passed on and of course, there have been a number of songs from some established artistes as well as up and coming ones paying tribute to the deceased.

The newest, ‘Nana Hemaa’ features female stars of her generation: Adina, MzVee, Efya, Freda Rhymz, eShun, Feli Nuna, and Adomaa.

Produced by LYNX Entertainment’s Richie Mensah, the project is put together by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and The Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO).

Ebony met her untimely death on Thursday February 8, when the jeep she was traveling in, slammed into an oncoming VIP bus. The accident, which happened on the Kumasi – Sunyani road, also led to the death of a military officer identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and a female acquaintance identified only as Frankie, who were also on board the Jeep.

Meanwhile, the family and management of Ebony have chosen Sunday, February 18, 2018 for the one week celebration of the her passing.

The event is expected to take place at St. Martin De Porres School, Dansonman.

She recorded hit songs like ‘Dancefloor,’ ‘Kupe,’ ‘Hustle,’ ‘Maame Hwe,’ ‘Date Ur Fada’ and ‘Poison’ under RuffTown Records.
