A Kumawood movie director Frank Fiifi Gharbin has made a damning allegation against star actor, Agya Koo. According to him, he once caught Agya Koo trying to rape an actress in a hotel during a movie shoot.
Narrating his allegation in a telephone interview on Hitz FM on Thursday, the Kumawood director said, he went upon his return from a night out to the hotel where the movie’s crew and cast were lodged, he overheard someone screaming.
He went into the room, which he said was unlocked, to meet Agya Koo and the actress, ‘Madam China’ struggling as he[Agya Koo] was ‘trying to rape the girl’.
He took the girl away from the hotel to another location that night, after separating them, leading Agya Koo to accuse him, at the time, of having an affair with the girl.
Agya Koo, who was in the studio, rubbished Gharbin’s allegations allegations wondering how he could have raped the lady in an unlocked room. He insisted that Fiifi Gharbin’s accusation was not in any way going to tarnish his image as the Director intended.
The Kumawood director had been called into the show to respond to claims by Agya Koo that some directors in the Kumawood movie industry had planned to blacklist him hence his absence on in movies these days.
Agya Koo had stated that his refusal to go naked for scene in the famous Okomfo Anokye movie had prompted that action from the directors.
Being the director of the fateful movie, Fiifi Gharbin had been called into the Day-Break Hitz Show to react to the actor’s claims but turned out into a back and forth throwing of allegations.
