Ghanaian rapper and singer, Kofi Kinaata has disclosed that the bad attitude of his friends informed the lyrics of his song, Confession.
Confession became the toast of many in Ghana and outside the country in the early days of 2016. There were several challenges that took place on social media and some people also took advantage of the song to also engage in excessive drinking of alcohol.
But speaking in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM, Kofi Kinaata has disclosed that the bad attitude of his friends informed the lyrics which was meant to educate people on the need to stay away from alcohol.
He said “I wrote the lyrics of the song based on the attitude of my friends. They sometimes go to the club and go out at night and by the time they come, they cannot find where they left the car they went with. Sometimes they will even tell me that they did not go out with cars when in actual sense they did”.
